Made for Cosplay Spookfest 2018 soon after the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Super Crown meme took off. Based the design on art by Michael Lee Lunsford.

Crown went through a few paper prototypes before making the real thing out of craft foam. Balls on the crown were wooden beads, secured in place with toothpicks and hot glue. Mushroom was pink fabric with spots made from white felt, stuffed, and put over my Zero II hat. Brooch and earrings were hand-sculpted out of oven bake clay. Collar pins were laser cut out of cardboard and then painted.
